Car Typography

Two of my biggest interests are vintage and exotic cars and typography. I started a personal project of capturing the different styles of typography applied to automobiles through the years. This is an excerpt of this ongoing project. It is very interesting how automotive companies translate all their brand qualities and product attributes in simple letterforms and symbols.
